We need change in our political regime, one that works for the people.

Quote from Albert Einstein, "Treasury of the Free World" 1946

"It is the duty of every citizen according to his best capabilities to give his conviction in political affairs."

Thought from Abby Mitchell, "Mitchell Sentinel" 2010

Washington's Political Wonders and Wanna-be's

"Elected politicians are the smallest group of paid government employees nationwide. We, the people, are their bosses. We "hired" them and gave them jobs. They are a unique group of Public Servants who control their own wages, their own medical plans, their own hours, their own retirements, their own disability programs (in the event of suffering from honest work syndrome). They live in the best homes, are driven by the best chauffeurs, eat the best food; their kids attend the best schools. These employees get to live the American dream because we hired them. Then these employees get to tell their bosses what to do, and how and where and when, they can do it; the bosses being us, the American people. The bosses who may not have wages at all; bosses with no job of either short or long hours. The bosses who go without medical care (suffering from hard work and life), are cheated out of retirements, and are denied disability (for injuries or illnesses). Some bosses have homes, some hope to have a home, some had homes and many don't have even a tent, (including the veterans who have fought, who died, or are maimed, so that our government employees could be safe and give nice speeches). No chauffeurs are needed because some can't afford a car (or gas), many are starving, and others have kids who dodge bullets at school. I wonder why we hired such a group of people and I wonder why, and for how long, we'll continue to let these employees wreck havoc with our money, our care and our country."

Welcome to Mitchell Sentinel

I am one of many injured Alaskan workers. This is the first blog site I have ever undertaken and I am serious in my concerns about the workers compensation system and the injustices taking place against workers.

I am outraged and saddened that the medical profession has been infested with a breed of doctors who are a festering, cankerous boil on the heart of medicine and they are spreading their poison throughout the medical community. These doctors are quite simply, the medical prostitutes of the insurance giants. To these doctors, the "First Do No Harm" promise has become a lost belief. To these doctors medicine has gone green - to the color of money and it is now "Business First Regardless the Harm". They give no thought to the patients who desperately need care or to the physicians who provide care for those patients. They give no thought to the families of these workers. Many people suffer at the hands of these doctors. They will lie, falsify medical records and test results and more - much, much more, all without apparent conscience, they will leave patients to die if need be. They are goal oriented for one purpose, and one purpose only, and that is to serve the insurance industry. To these doctors, patients are an expendable commodity. The value of human life is found only as incoming money for these doctors and they market their skills tenaciously, and it seems, without any fear of accountability.

However, we cannot place the blame solely on these doctors. A select group of politicians have given them the laws they need to do this. There are laws forcing injured workers to jump through hoops, laws to protect those hoops while strategically placing key personnel in positions to see that those hoops aren't broken and worse, they have put in place laws to keep anyone from interfering with what they are doing. The fox not only guards the hen house, he gets to decide if he's innocent or guilty of the wrongdoing. Please take a look at the Constance Livsey post, the Claimant post and to come a document titled Dan Brow, Division of Insurance. There is a statute in this document that shows just how it works. An injured worker must do, according to law, what the board says. An injured worker cannot get anyone to help them (interfere with an active case), according to the law. Very convenient for the adjusters. Then when you put the statutes in line with the board members who are often layers who have used the same doctors doing the denials, the players who are represented by the Attorney Generals office, who are insurance attorneys who have used the same doctors, and laws protecting them from interference by an outsider, well, where does the worker go? It is a very well orchestrated web of intentional denials, protected by laws. It is way past the time for exposure. Please dig into the statutes in your state and see who has helped write them and put them in place.

We hope to bring awareness to the uninjured worker, the worker who still believes that truth is the goal and that justice will prevail when facts and truths are presented in their behalf. We hope to bring awareness to the worker who doesn't believe the system is really as broken as people say it is. The system is broken. It is very broken, and the uninjured worker needs to know he or she is at risk for abuse by this broken system if they sustain a serious injury or illness resulting from their employment.

Workers compensation has become a "Murder Made Legal" system in this country. Little is being done to rectify that situation and the goal of this site is to provide support and information to help workers in their battle.

We hope, by showing the way they have set it up and connect the dots, that a pattern will appear in every state where a worker has been wrongfully denied benefits, through a corrupt system and a purchased doctor's report. Please never give up.

About Me

J.S.
In an effort to regain my Alaska worker's compensation benefits, after they were controverted by an insurance doctor, my research on that physician uncovered a wealth of tangible evidence supporting widespread insurance and medical fraud that is a nationwide problem, not simply unique to Alaska. Thank you for answering these short polls and posting your comments. This is a great way for me to find out what workers have tried to do in their efforts to secure benefits. It is an extremely difficult process. Information is vital to your case. It is so important to know the hired doctor/doctors. He/she works for the insurance industry for a reason. These polls will help me to know what others have tried in the past and give me an opportunity to determine what we might do collectively to help each other in the long haul. Thank you for your responses.

Have you been provided with current and accurate CV's for the "doctors" they force you to see?

How many injured workers do you have knowledge of who were denied benefits by insurance doctors?

Thank you
